Board of Directors and Senior Management

Executive Director (Board of Directors)

Mr. Kwan is one of the founding shareholders of the Group, primarily responsible for formulating overall business strategies of the Group and overseeing the operation of the Board of Directors. Mr. Kwan has over 43 years of extensive experience in the construction industry in Hong Kong, with professional expertise covering multiple areas including engineering management, project development, and corporate operations.

Mr. Yip holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Peking University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in fields such as corporate consulting and management, risk investment, and private equity investment.

Mr. Yip had been engaged in the businesses of financial investment, financial consulting, risk-related investment as well as consulting and management for listed companies in Hong Kong in his early years.

Mr. Zhang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Jilin University of Finance and Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Middlesex University, in the United Kingdom. Mr. Zhang is a Senior Economist and has over 30 years of experience in the international banking industry and extensive experience in banking operations and management.

Mr. Zhang has extensive experience in various fields and businesses such as corporate banking, investment banking, and financial markets.

Independent Non-Executive Director (Board of Directors)

Prof. Lau has extensive experience in both academic and public affairs. He is currently a Professor in the Department of History and the Assistant Vice-President at Lingnan University. Prof. Lau has held various positions including chairman and advisor in various public advisory and statutory bodies and non-profit organisations. He is also a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and a council member of the seventh Hong Kong Legislative Council.

Mr. Chin has over 40 years of extensive management experience in the fields of trading, contracting, and finance business. He possesses senior industry insights and strong leadership abilities. Mr. Chin held key positions in several Hong Kong-listed companies and actively involved in corporate management, business development, and debt restructuring, where he demonstrated outstanding performance.

Prof. Mo holds a Bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Accountancy from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prof. Mo is currently the Head and Professor of the Department of Accounting at Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. She also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC), Convenor of the Financial Reporting Review Committee, and is an expert assessor for the Hong Kong Council for Academic and Vocational Accreditation.

Senior Management

Mr. Poon is primarily responsible for supervising and managing the daily operations of Acme Gondola. He has over 24 years of extensive experience in gondola design, marketing, and project management of gondola business, possessing deep insights into industry development and operational management.

Mr. Lam is responsible for overseeing the corporate finance and financial reporting of the Group. He graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a Master of Business Administration degree. He is a Fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Lam previously worked at one of the Big Four accounting firms and has held senior financial management positions in several listed companies. He also has many years of experience working at The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Mr. Lam has led companies through their initial public offering (IPO) and listing on the Hong Kong Main Board.

Mr. Lam previously worked for Big Four accounting firms, held senior financial management positions in several listed companies, and worked in the Listing Division of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for many years. Mr. Lam has experience in leading companies to complete initial public offerings and listings on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Mr. Liu is responsible for the AI + electricity trading business and manages the company’s electricity trading teams in the spot markets of Guangdong, Shandong, and Hunan. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Tsinghua University and a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong. Mr. Liu has over 15 years of extensive experience in the power and energy industry.

From 2011 to 2019, he served as Chief Dispatcher and Supervisor at the Power Dispatch Control Center of China Southern Power Grid, overseeing grid dispatch operations and electricity market management. He has also held the position of Director of Electricity Trading at several companies.

Mr. Wu is an expert in the Green Power Energy Business of the Group. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology from Hohai University. Mr. Wu is a professorate senior engineer and has over 30 years of extensive experience in power engineering industry.

He was the Deputy General Manager of China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd (“Energy Chia”). Since joining Energy China in 1985, Mr. Wu served as various key positions including Deputy Director and Director of affiliated enterprises, Assistant Dean, Deputy Manager of a consulting company, and Deputy Manager and Manager at China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Co., Ltd.

Joint Company Secretaries

Mr. Yu is responsible for the company secretarial matters of the Group. Mr. Yu has over 12 years of experience in the field of accounting and auditing in Hong Kong. Mr. Yu obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree (majoring in Accounting) from Macquarie University, Australia in September 2009. He is a member of the CPA Australia and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Lam has been practicing law in Hong Kong for over 20 years and is a qualified practicing solicitor in Hong Kong.

He obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong in 1995 and 1996, respectively. He also holds a Master of Laws degree from City University of Hong Kong and a Master of Science degree in Financial Analysis from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Mr. Lam is a consultant lawyer at Chan & Li Solicitors and holds a practicing certificate issued by the Law Society of Hong Kong. Mr. Lam is also a China-Appointed Attesting Officer appointed by the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China and a GBA Lawyer (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Lawyer) of D&S Law Firm.

Other Key Team Members

Ms. Tse is responsible for expanding the Group’s overseas green power energy business.

She graduated from the University of Sydney, Australia. Ms. Tse is a fellow member of CPA Australia, a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a senior member of the Hong Kong Institute of Taxation.

Ms. Tse has worked at the Big Four accounting firms in Hong Kong and Singapore, participating in the restructuring of Chinese state-owned enterprises and overseas listings. In the business sector, she has been involved in overseas listings and asset acquisition matters.

Alastair is the co-founder, director, and Chief Operating Officer of Future Energy. He is primarily responsible for business growth, strategic planning, and financial control.

Alastair holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of Otago, New Zealand, and has held management positions in various construction industry companies in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Heath is the co-founder, director, and Sales Director of Future Energy. He is actively driving the sustainable energy transition. His main responsibilities include business partnerships, sales, and business planning.

Heath has a professional background in sales and business management and has held multiple senior management positions in companies across New Zealand.
